HIFU stands for ‘High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound’. HIFU Facial is a non-surgical skin lifting, firming, and tightening treatment using focused ultrasound.

A HIFU facial delivers Focused Ultrasound to deep layers of the skin, stimulating collagen production of the dermis layer and tightening the SMAS layer to give skin back its elasticity and a naturally youthful appearance. Separate cartridges are used to treat all layers of the skin.

There is virtually no downtime with HIFU. After treatment, you may experience slight redness and swelling, but these symptoms should subside quickly, and you can immediately return to your normal activities.

Some people may see a lifting effect immediately after treatment; however, the ultimate lifting, firming, and tightening results will occur gradually over the following 2 to 3 months. During this time, older collagen structures are replaced with new, strong collagen.

Traditional HIFU can be very painful, but we use the latest “Safety Assist Transducer technology” to make your treatment more comfortable. Safety Assist Transducer technology allows targeting an accurate depth without causing excessive heat and discomfort to all skin layers.

We recommend an initial course of 1-3 HIFU treatments. After the initial course, maintenance treatments are recommended every 9-18 months, depending on the individual.
