How to Remove Stretch Marks?

Why do we get stretch marks?

Do you want your Stretch Marks removed? Unfortunately, that can't be done without surgery. However, they can become a lot less visible. Skin is flexible and stretchy, but when it stretches faster than the production of collagen can keep up with, such as during puberty or pregnancy, stretch marks can occur. Your genetics and high cortisol level (a hormone produced by the adrenal glands) can also lead to the development of Stretch Marks.

How to Remove Stretch Marks?

Stretch marks fade to a silvery colour over time, but they don’t go away completely. Saying that, don’t despair! There are treatments available to make stretch marks much less noticeable and make the skin surface smoother. One of them is Radiofrequency Microneedling (RF Microneedling).

How Does RF Microneedling help with Stretch Marks?

You may have heard of “Microneedling” or “Derma roller”?

These treatments use ultrafine needles to create micro-wounds in the skin, stimulating collagen production to smooth the skin surface. RF Microneedling gives quicker and more effective results than standalone Microneedling. RF energy is transmitted from the needles into the top and middle layers of the skin, further boosting collagen production.

How many sessions of RF Microneedling do I Need for Stretch Marks?

Stretch marks will need more sessions than other skin rejuvenation treatments as the scar tissue goes quite deep. We usually recommend a minimum of 6 sessions with treatments every 3-4 weeks to get the best results.
