How Long to See the Results of RF Microneedling

Microneedling Results

For any skin concerns such as wrinkles, acne scars or open pores, we always want a quick, instant fix, and we want it to last as long as possible. Luckily, we live in a world where technological advancements can significantly improve skin conditions. RF Microneedling results in stimulated collagen production to improve skin texture over a few months.

How RF Microneedling works?

When we plant a seed, it takes time to grow into a beautiful flower.

After a seed is planted, it takes time for shoots to appear from the soil. RF Microneedling is a bit similar to this. While we patiently wait for shoots to appear, many things are going on under the dermal and epidermal layers of the skin.

After an RF Microneedling treatment, our skin produces more collagen for repairing the micro-wounds leading to a smoother skin surface. That’s why we don’t see instant results with RF Microneedling. After all, Collagen and elastin are the secret weapons that keep our skin smooth and firm.

Effects Continue after treatment.

The ultimate results build up gradually over the 2-3 months following treatment. During this time, older collagen structures are replaced by new strong collagen.  Many people see a good result after one treatment, but typically 3-5 sessions are recommended to get the best results. After that, occasional maintenance sessions are recommended every 6-12 months.
