ACE London 2026!
Attending ACE London, widely recognised as the UK’s leading aesthetic event, was an incredibly inspiring experience for me both professionally and personally. Surrounded by some of the most innovative minds in the industry, I felt completely immersed in an environment driven by science, education, and a shared passion for advancing aesthetic treatments.
One of the absolute highlights of the event was meeting Dr Des Fernandes, often referred to as the “Father of microneedling.” This was a truly memorable moment. To meet someone whose work has had such a profound impact on the treatments we use today felt both humbling and motivating. His contribution to the development of microneedling has not only shaped the industry but has also transformed the way we approach skin rejuvenation

Listening to him speak, what stood out most was his deep-rooted passion for science and his unwavering commitment to evidence-based practice. His approach is not about trends or quick fixes—it is grounded in decades of research, clinical understanding, and a genuine desire to improve skin health at a cellular level.
I came away from our interaction having learned so much—not just about microneedling as a treatment, but about the importance of understanding the “why” behind everything we do. It reinforced for me that as professionals, we have a responsibility to continuously educate ourselves and ensure that the treatments we offer are backed by solid research and proven results.
