What are Acne Scars?
Acne scars are marks or indentations left on the skin after severe or prolonged acne has healed.
Acne scarring is caused by inflammation within the dermis layer of the skin.

Ice Pick Scars
Ice pick scars are small, deep, V-shaped scars that look like small round holes. These are the most challenging types of acne scars to treat as they are very deep.
Rolling Scars
When you get rolling scars, your skin looks uneven, with a wavy texture, usually caused by long-term acne. They look more noticeable as we age, and the skin loses its laxity.
Boxcar Scars
Boxcar Scars are wider, U-shaped scars that have sharp edges. They can be shallow or deep.
