HIFU or Dermal Fillers?
HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) is the best non-surgical treatment for lifting, firming and tightening the skin.
So, How about Dermal Filler? HIFU Vs Filler, which is better? What is the difference in effect between fillers and HIFU?
What is Dermal Filler?
Dermal filler replaces lost volume and injects a Hyaluronic acid-based substance into the dermis (middle layer of the skin) to plump up the skin and make it smoother. It is designed to create a smoother and fuller appearance.
What is HIFU?
HIFU tightens loose skin and stimulates collagen production. HIFU delivers focused ultrasound energy to the skin's deep layers, including the SMAS layer. The SMAS layer is the area surgeons tighten during a surgical facelift.
HIFU Vs Filler, which is better?
It is good to use both HIFU and Fillers to achieve the best result. HIFU lifts, firms and tightens the skin and Fillers can add volume. People get confused about HIFU and Fillers, but they do different jobs.
Sagging skin is a widespread concern for many people. As we age, we lose fat, muscle, and collagen, as well as bone shrinkage. On top of that, with the help of gravity(!), facial structures move downward, causing sagginess.
By adding volume with fillers in the upper cheek, for example, it pulls up the lower face. Then treating the lower face with HIFU will stimulate the formation of collagen to lift, firm and tighten the skin.
